FENCING AT CARIN PARK
When we decided to build our facility, we visited many spelling farms around Victoria. A huge variation was present between all of them.
Our main priority was 'safety' for the visiting horse and protection of your valuable investment.
We spent many months testing what was available on the market and eventually decided to use the product 'Electrobraid'.
It is a nylon filament with copper wires braided through it and as thick as your little finger. This product has the same strength as No. 8 fencing wire but will not cut like wire if a horse happened to run into it. They would receive no more than a rope burn. Added to this it is a very elastic product, so if a horse does make contact, it goes with the horse for a distance before springing back.
We are thrilled with the result so far and intend to build the second stage paddocks with this wonderful product.
